Luna

Her glistening silhouette,

Illuminates the black canvas,

Speckled with dust particles,

And beautiful flaming balls of gas.

Without her beacon of light,

She is nothing.

Just a crater filled rock,

Orbiting a larger rock.

But with light,

She is complete.

She shines upon the lovers,

She lights up the lone wolves’

Dark, dark fur.

She is beautiful,

Glittering from afar.

Her imperfections, perfections.

She is not perpetual,

She is ever changing,

Her shape, her location,

But her beauty and mystery never falter.

She dances gracefully around the night sky,

Our galaxy, her ballroom.

She glows,

Omnipotent.

Omnibenevolent.

Omniscient.

Omnipresent.
