All personal data provided will be used for the purposes of administering the competition and prize-giving, and organising the annual Pushkin Prize-winners’ Week. The Prize Administrators will use the contact details provided by the supporting adult to send any updates relating to the progress of the competition.
What type of personal information is collected?
All entries are accompanied by a completed entry form. The entrant signs the form, and provides a full contact address (usually a school), email address, and their date of birth. The entry form is also signed by a supporting adult (usually a teacher or parent) who also provides a full contact address, phone number and email address.
Entries may be copied or scans for the purposes of judging the competition only, and all hard copies will be destroyed at the end of the judging process.
Contact details of the twelve Pushkin Prize-winners are retained for the purposes of keeping in touch. Pushkin Prize-winners can request that this information is updated, or deleted, by contacting the Director.
How will the information be used?
All the information on the Pushkin Prizes entry form is collected for the purposes of administering the competition, and to provide updates to applicants on the progress of entries.
Will the Pushkin Prizes in Scotland and St Petersburg share my information with anyone else?
None of the personal data will be used for any purpose other than the administration of The Pushkin Prizes in Scotland and St Petersburg.
All entries are anonymised before they are circulated among the competition judges.
All personal data is treated in strict confidence.
How can I see what information you have about me?
You can ask for a copy of any personal data we have. You can ask us to delete it, or to amend it.
